I know, I know... two blog posts in as many days. What is this world coming to? ;) But, I forgot to mention two things in my last blog post...

Matt and I have run in our first official race; we ran with The New York Road Runners. I know some of you are saying, "What? Matt and Carissa have just run their first race?" Yes, while we run most days of the week just for the sake of fitness, we have never actually run in a race. Well, I ran in one during college - the Race to the Chicken - WHOOP!! :) Anywho, we ran in a 4-mile race on June 3. It was great weather, we had lots of fun, and we both came in at sub-8 minute miles :)

Also, an update on celebrity sightings:
Matt saw Eric McCormack going into a Starbucks on 8th Ave.
He also saw the "sweep the leg" sensei (aka Martin Kove) of Karate Kid fame on 8th Ave as well.
Matt always has the celebrity sightings... I am so jealous!
