As many of you know, in November my mom was elected to the Texas House of Representatives for District 101. She was sworn in on January 11 in Austin, TX and Matt and I got to go. It was pretty cool to see my mom sitting in her official desk/chair on the House Floor, swearing in, accepting visitors and pols in her official office. I am very excited for her and know she will kick butt in Austin! :)
