Montenapo was decorated nicely for New Year's complete with balloons, fancy menus, dance floor and DJ. Matt and I had a table reservation for the whole evening where we could enjoy our dinner and escape to the dance floor for a few rounds of dancing without worrying about a table to come back to. The food and wine was very yummy, and there was complimentary Prosecco at midnight. All in all it was a very nice way to bring in 2012. Pics below :)

Our First Christmas and New Year's in NYC - Part 2
So, I kind of forgot to blog about New Year's in the post below :) Our first New Year's in NYC was quite lovely. We had reservations at Montenapo, a restaurant on W 41st Street, only blocks from Times Square. We were a little worried about trying to get so close to Times Square on New Year's Eve, but NYC really impressed us with their large event/crowd control capabilities. It was very easy to get to our restaurant and back home via subway, and all we needed was an entrance pass from the restaurant to get into the Times Square area.
