Mexican Vacation

Matt likes to make a distinction between traveling and vacationing.  Basically, travelling is when you go somewhere that requires site-seeing and some kind of itinerary to organize your trip.  Vacationing is when you just go somewhere, relax and do a bunch of nothing - Mexico fit that bill!  We both really, really needed a vacation, and we LOVED our Mexican vacation in Cabo.  We traveled to Mexico the last week in March, and we stayed at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort, which was absolutely fabulous.  We had stayed in a Secrets resort when we went to the Mexican Riviera on our honeymoon, and we were very impressed with the resort.  So, when we decided we needed a vacation and picked Cabo as our spot (since we had never been there), we chose to stay at Secrets again.  We were again very impressed and are making Secrets our go-to resort when going to Mexico, the Caribbean, and all of those other lovely beach/island spots :)

I can sum up our vacation in four words - relaxation, food, drink and sun :)  I got tons of pics, but will say that none of them really capture how beautiful it was there.  That said, here are the pics!

The waves here were HUGE (which I couldn't capture really well in photos). They made a thundering kind of noise that we could hear at night from our balcony.  It was really cool.

The whole trip was just perfect; so perfect that it is threatening to derail all of our other travel goals in favor of always going to Mexico :)  It really was a lovely vacation, just what we needed, and we look forward to our next Mexican vacation, whenever that may be.
