Dwight Yokam
Friday night (9/6) we went to a Dwight Yokam concert at the Hollywood Palladium, which is a standing room only venue. And, since we are older now, we don't have to be in the front, or even the middle, pushed up against all the other concert goers. So, we hung out in the back, enjoyed the music and even danced a little. Here is what Dwight looks like from the back :)
It was a good concert and it was nice to hear Dwight's velvety voice in Cali.
Rangers game (at the Angel Stadium in Anaheim)
On Sunday (9/8), I got to meet up with some friends of ours from Dallas and add another ballpark to my list!! (Matt was on the way out of town for a business trip - booo) And, as a plus,I got to cheer on the Rangers :) AND, as a bigger plus - we won!
I know I am always taking pictures of food - but I was soooo excited about these waffles. They were gluten free and freakin' delicious!! We had a pre-game breakfast at Flappy Jack's, which is a great place that has tons of gluten-free pancake and waffle options. I plan on going there every time I go to an Angels game :)
