Our first Thanksgiving with Lilly was pretty low key. In the past, we have typically gone to a restaurant for a nice Thanksgiving lunch/dinner and then spend Friday - Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend travelling somewhere fun. It has been a nice tradition for us :) This year, we tried to keep as much of our Thanksgiving tradition alive while accommodating our newest family member :)
Thanksgiving Dinner
We actually cooked Thanksgiving dinner at home this year. To be fair, we cooked Thanksgiving dinner last year, too, because of my work schedule. So, this is our second year to actually cook. And, thanks to Blue Apron, it was easy and yummy! :) I actually made cranberry sauce from scratch (first time to do that), and it was pretty tasty.

Thanksgiving Travel
We managed to fit in a day trip to Ojai, CA as a family of three for some good food and wine tasting. Lilly was very good all day, and we got to enjoy a nice, leisurely lunch plus some very nice wine tastings. All in all, a very successful first 'trip'.

Our first Thanksgiving with Lilly was very enjoyable. Hopefully, we can introduce her to to full Thanksgiving travel tradition next year :)
