Matt and mine's life has been going along as normal the last month. My new position in the ER is going great, and I am loving being an ER nurse. Matt's job is keeping him busy, and he is finding new opportunities to lead others and do exciting work. California is continuing to provide us with good weather and fun adventures. All in all, nothing new, but all the normal stuff is still exciting and fun :)
One thing new that we are trying (but may not seem so exciting to you guys) is
Blue Apron. We are only doing it about 2 weeks out of each month, but it is nice for several reasons. First, the way the recipes are set up makes it easy for multiple cooks to participate. So, Matt is actually helping me out in the kitchen, which makes making dinner easier for me and more fun for me (Matt may not call cooking 'fun' per so ;)). Second, as we are in the kitchen cooking together and having wine together (always a willing participant!), the night is like a stay-in-date-night of sorts. And, third, we are trying fun, new recipes that we would not otherwise make at home. So far, it has been a fun Blue Apron experience. I have three free recipes that I can send to someone... if anyone wants one, let me know :)
